Saber Guard

The Saber Team was founded and established in 2023 by Cadet LTC Jacob Soria. The teams first commander was C/LTC Soria and its Co-Commander C/CPT Alison Purkey. The idea was originally conceived in 2019 in effort to encourage more participation in the battalions special teams. The Saber Team focuses on training in regulation drill and aids in the ceremonial training for Saber Guard. The first formal appearance of the team was at Military Ball of 2023, performing a Saber Arch, commanded by C/CPT Alison Purkey.
